Lost Origin stands as one of the final mainline Scarlet and Violet era sets before the transition to new mechanics, capturing a moment when the Pokémon TCG remained at peak popularity and experimental design. The set's focus on lost or forgotten Pokémon mechanics and Giratina as its legendary centerpiece made it a collector favorite, with Secret Rare Full Art cards becoming highly sought chase pulls that defined the set's desirability. Thorton appears here as a Full Art Supporter card, rendered in the striking illustrative style characteristic of Lost Origin's premium offerings. Trainer cards with complete artwork treatments hold special appeal for collectors who value the artistic presentation alongside gameplay utility, making Secret Rare Supporters perennial favorites in the hobby.
