Shiny Treasure ex arrived in 2023 as one of the Japanese market's most anticipated releases, continuing the modern era's celebration of alternate art treatments and Pokémon ex mechanics. The set exemplified how contemporary collecting embraces premium production values and artistic experimentation, marking a period when Japanese cards commanded serious collector attention worldwide and drove significant conversation about design innovation within the Pokémon TCG. Oricorio appears here in its striking shiny form, the dancer Pokémon rendered with vibrant alternate coloring that captures the character's graceful, avian nature. Collectors pursue this card for its eye-catching artwork and the appeal of shiny variants, which remain popular across the hobby for their rarity and visual distinction from standard releases.
