✍️ Autograph Authentication Crown Verified
The autograph appearing on this 2024 Topps Chrome Veteran Autograph Orange Refractor card (18/25, CVA-MVE) has been examined by the Crown Authentication team and determined to bear the signature of UFC Bantamweight Marlon Vera. The signature is rendered in blue ink within the designated autograph area, presenting a fluid, looping cursive script with a pronounced leading "M" stroke that transitions into a continuous flowing secondary formation — consistent with known exemplars attributed to Vera. Ink examination confirms this is a live ink autograph, hand-signed in real ink rather than printed or reproduced, as evidenced by darkened overlaps at stroke intersections and naturally varying ink pressure and density across the signature.
Card Notes
Topps Chrome Veteran Autographs represent a modern continuation of the Chrome brand's premium aesthetic, blending vintage collecting sensibilities with contemporary athlete recognition. The orange refractor parallels add visual pop and scarcity, with numbered editions creating tiered collectibility that appeals to both casual fans and serious hobbyists. These sets celebrate established figures in their respective sports, offering autographed pieces that bridge nostalgia and present-day relevance. Marlon Vera's autographed card captures interest from MMA enthusiasts who appreciate Chrome's bold design language applied to combat sports. The orange refractor finish enhances the card's visual presence, while the low print run of 25 copies ensures limited availability. Collectors of modern autograph cards and Vera enthusiasts alike seek these parallels as accessible entry points to premium signed memorabilia.
