Dragon Ball Super's trading card game experienced significant growth throughout the early 2020s, with expansion sets like Ultimate Deck becoming staples for both casual and competitive players. These releases captured the anime's most iconic moments and characters, offering collectors accessible entry points into the TCG hobby while maintaining strong secondary market interest among Dragon Ball enthusiasts. Android 17 and Android 18 represent one of the franchise's most compelling character dynamics—artificial beings who transcended their original programming to become heroes. Their dual-character presentation on a single card reflects their thematic connection, making this piece particularly appealing to collectors who value narrative depth alongside gameplay utility.
