Power Keepers concluded the EX era of Pokemon TCG in 2007, marking a significant transition point in the game's history. Released as the final EX set, it bridged the gap between the power-focused mechanics collectors knew and the newer gameplay on the horizon. The set remains notable for its retrospective appeal, celebrating years of competitive play and iconic Pokemon from the extended universe. Carvanha, the sharp-toothed Water-type, appears here in reverse holographic form—a popular variant that showcases the card's illustration with full-card shimmer. Collectors appreciate this Carvanha for its predatory artwork and the nostalgia of pursuing complete reverse holo runs from Power Keepers. It represents the accessible yet collectible commons and uncommons that drive set completion for dedicated hobbyists.
