Card Notes
The Sword & Shield Black Star Promos were a landmark distribution during Pokémon's modern resurgence, released alongside the 2019 video game launch. These cards introduced collectors to the TCG's new era with bold, contemporary artwork and became highly sought gateway cards for players returning to the hobby. The Black Star line remains fondly remembered for making premium promotional cards widely accessible during a pivotal moment for the franchise. Morpeko V captures this generation's aesthetic perfectly, showcasing the beloved new Galar region Pokémon in dynamic V-card form. The artwork brings Morpeko's distinctive dual-nature personality to life with vibrant energy. Collectors value this card as both an early Black Star highlight and a representation of Sword & Shield's infectious early enthusiasm.
