Card.Fun's Disney 100 Merry Christmas set arrived in 2023 as part of the broader celebration of Disney's centennial milestone. The release captures a particular moment in modern trading card collecting when mainstream entertainment properties began exploring holiday-themed card products with renewed vigor. This set represents the intersection of nostalgia, character celebration, and festive collecting culture that defined much of the early 2020s card landscape. Mike Wazowski, the beloved comedic character from Monsters, Inc., brings his characteristic humor and charm to this holiday release. Collectors are drawn to cards featuring iconic Disney characters, especially those with strong personality and memorable designs. This card celebrates one of animation's most quotable characters during the joyful Christmas season, making it an appealing addition for both Disney fans and those building character-focused collections.
