Kayou's 25th Anniversary SpongeBob SquarePants collection arrived in 2024 as a celebratory release honoring the beloved cartoon's cultural milestone. This set represents the anime card market's appetite for licensed properties beyond traditional anime, bringing SpongeBob's colorful world to trading card form. The Fun Time Collection captured characters and moments that resonated with both longtime fans and collectors exploring newer properties in the TCG landscape. Mr. Krabs appears here as a Super Rare, befitting his status as one of the show's most iconic characters. Collectors are drawn to character-specific cards that represent memorable personalities, and Krabs' distinctive design translates well to card artwork. This SR designation makes it a notable pull within the set's hierarchy.
